Last season included performances as Tosca in Innsbruck, and her debut at the Komische Oper Berlin, where she premiered as Fata Morgana, receiving rave reviews in Andreas Homoki’s highly acclaimed production of Prokofieff’s Love of Three Oranges, with continuing performances scheduled beyond 2003. Ms. Gettler performed her first Sieglinde in Wagner’s Walküre in a new Ring Cycle in Dortmund in 1991 to unanimous critical acclaim. She returned to Dortmund in the following season as Sieglinde and Gutrune.

In previous seasons, she sang the title role in Gluck’s Iphigenie en Tauride with the Stuttgart, Berlin, and Basel Operas.
